Since the end of August, Russia has been shelling energy facilities in the Chernihiv region. On October 1, after a massive strike on one of the energy facilities in the region, power outages began. The power is cut off for six and eight hours, according to LIGA.net local entrepreneurs.

The power outages are accompanied by hours-long air raids. In some districts of Chernihiv region, they last for 20 hours, and sometimes even a day, Bohuslav Kruk, a representative of the communications department of the 15th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told on Ukrainian Radio Chernihiv.
