"We are considering the possibility". There is a bidder for the privatization of VinnytsiaPobutkhim

The Afina Group of Ruslan Shostak and Valeriy Kiptyk, which owns Vuhastyk, iFresh, Polar Shin, Sarmix and other brands, has officially confirmed its interest in participating in the privatization auction for the sale of VinnytsiaPobutkhim .
"Afina Group retains interest in the production assets of VinnytsiaPobutkhim, which have been involved in our production chain for the past two years. We are considering participating in a privatization auction to acquire the company's assets after the completion of the necessary procedures by the state authorities," the group said in a commentary LIGA.net .
At the same time, it will not compete for assets at any price, as it has a "clear understanding of the limits of the feasibility of participating in competitive bidding".
In 2022, Crytex-Service, a part of the group, was selected as the winner of a tender organized by the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) for the temporary management of VinnytsiaPobutkhim's assets.
After the decision to nationalize the company was made, the process of returning assets to the state began.
Since there were no well-established procedures for the prompt transfer of large operating enterprises to state ownership in Ukraine, this process required additional time to resolve legal and organizational issues. Uncertainty over the planning of production activities and negotiations over the supply of raw materials led to a partial reduction in production volumes and, accordingly, a temporary decrease in state budget revenues, according to Crisis Group.
As a result of negotiations in the fourth quarter of 2024, an agreement was reached on a gradual resumption of production, taking into account the asset transfer plan.
However, already in April 2025, an additional management termination agreement was signed between ARMA and Crytex-Service LLC in connection with the transfer of the plant for privatization, and the company is currently implementing the final period of the management agreement.
- The starting price of VinnytsiaPobutkhim will be UAH 301.4 million. The future buyer is obliged to preserve the main activities of the enterprise.
