On Friday, October 10, a restaurant opened in the village of Lipyny near Lutsk McDonald's. This is the 115th establishment of the chain in Ukraine and the third in the Volyn region, according to LIGA.net in the company's press service.

The first McDonald's in Volyn was opened in Lutsk in September 2021, and the second in Kovel in December 2024.

The new restaurant is located on the Lutsk bypass road, at the entrance from Rivne, which corresponds to network development strategies along major highways. The project was implemented in cooperation with the WOG chain, which will soon open a new gas station next to it.

The restaurant has an area of 470 square meters and can accommodate 115 visitors in the hall and 134 on the terrace. The restaurant has 10 self-service terminals and all the usual service formats are available: in the hall, via McDrive and delivery service.

The restaurant will be open from 7:00 to 23:00, McDrive – from 5:00 to 23:30.

With the opening of this restaurant, McDonald's has created 60 jobs and will pay taxes to the local budget.

During an air raid, the restaurant temporarily closes so that employees and visitors can take shelter.

  • After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, McDonald's temporarily closed its restaurants in Ukraine, but since September 2022, it has gradually resumed operations.

  • In May the first McDonald's restaurants appeared in Transcarpathiawhere the network did not work before.
  • In September, Lviv opened the first McDonald's in Ukraine with "sustainable design". The restaurant is equipped with furniture made of 100% recycled plastic.
