Rent for New Year's: How much do apartments cost in Kyiv, Lviv, and other top locations?
This year, New Year's rentals have become more expensive due to a shortage of self-sufficient properties. Tenants demand uninterrupted electricity, which has sharply reduced supply and pushed up prices.
In 2025, renting an apartment for New Year's celebrations is more difficult and expensive than last year. Rates in the Kyiv suburbs and in the Bukovel resort complexes have increased by 20–35%.
The requirements for rental conditions have also changed – customers have become more demanding. In particular, the availability of uninterrupted electricity has become one of the key points of the necessary festive comfort. Many properties are excluded from the list of locations for New Year's rentals precisely because they are not adapted to power outages. Therefore, the volume of rentals for this year's celebrations has decreased.
