"It would have been a blockbuster". Vlada Molchanova on the case surrounding the Stolychny market

At the end of September – beginning of October, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court is to consider the appeal of Vladislava Molchanova, founder of the Stolitsa Group company. The businesswoman is appealing the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court, which imposed a bail of 100 million hryvnias as a preventive measure.
As a reminder, the Kyiv developer is accused of allegedly conducting an illegal land deal involving the land where the "Stolichny" market is located. The case involves former Party of Regions MP Yuriy Ivanyushchenko, with whom Molchanova had a conflict over Stolichny. The investigation claims that the dispute ended with the signing of a memorandum with Ivanyushchenko. As a result of the settlement agreement, legal entities of the former MP became co-owners of companies that own plots of land allegedly illegally transferred from state ownership.
Correspondent LIGA.net I contacted Molchanova with a request to comment on the case. She provided written answers to the questions. We are publishing some of them. This is the first comprehensive public comment on the case from the founder of Stolitsa Group.
