The contract with the winner of the previous tender has not yet been signed, and the funds collected for Okhmatdyt's needs will be transferred to the hospital's treasury account.

In total, UAH 312 million ($7.57 million) was donated directly to the hospital's charity account, UAH 320 million ($7.76 million) was donated through the United24 platform, UAH 378 million ($9.17 million) was donated to the Okhmatdyt charity fund, and the government provided an additional UAH 100 million ($2.43 million).

Previously, the Okhmatdyt – Healthy Childhood charity fund announced the winner of the tender for urgent repairs to the facade and interior of the hospital, which was damaged by a Russian missile strike on July 8.

Fourteen construction companies participated in the tender. The winner was the Zaporizhzhia-based company Bud-Technology, which offered to complete the work for UAH 307.45 million ($7.46 million) excluding VAT.

Bud-Technology's bid was one of the most expensive, according to Nashi Groshi. Most competitors submitted bids under UAH 300 million ($7.27 million).

The selection of a little-known contractor with an expensive bid caused significant public outcry. As a result, the Ministry of Health has requested additional checks from law enforcement agencies.
