The State Property Fund on Thursday, September 25, held a successful auction for the privatization of 73.28% of shares in the Kvant plant located in Kyiv on Maksymovycha Street (near the Vasylkivska metro station next to the Saxon nightclub). The winner of the auction, General Agro Trade LLC, offered UAH 401.5 million for the property, testify data from Prozorro.Sale.

On the eve of the auction, General Agro Trade changed its address from Kharkiv to Kyiv, and its owner from Yuriy Kyrylenko to Olga Ivanova, according to LIGA360.

If the company fails to pay the money, the right to privatize the property will go to Yumileks LLC (owned by the former owners of the Karavan shopping center, Sergey Khripkov and Andrey Gordienko) for UAH 350 million.

The future owner of the Kvant plant is obliged to repay UAH 1.2 million of debt to the state budget and not to dismiss employees (there are only two of them) for six months. There are no other obligations.

Kvant does not actually conduct any business activities; its main asset is 30 buildings with a total area of 58,500 square meters near the center of Kyiv. The company does not own any land plots.
