A feed mill will be built near Ternopil: it will produce 1000 tons per day

A feed mill with a capacity of 50 tons per hour will be built in Ternopil region. The construction contract was signed by Bühler Ukraine and the corporation Agroprodservice.

It will be one of the most technologically advanced facilities in Ukraine, specially designed for the needs of the pig industry. Construction is scheduled to begin this year.

Ivan Karachka, Director of Agroprodservice, said LIGA.net the company said that the contract with Bühler was for engineering and equipment procurement.

"We are currently working on a project and preparing tender documents for construction work. The land plot has already been prepared," Karachka said.

According to him, the plant will be able to produce 1,000 tons of feed per day and will have two lines with a capacity of 500 tons each.

The plant will be built on the territory of the Western Ukrainian Industrial Hub industrial park in the village of Ostrov near Ternopil.

The Swiss concern Bühler operates in the field of technologies and methods for processing grain into flour and feed, pasta and chocolate production, aluminum die-casting, etc.

Agroprodservice Corporation (APS) is one of the first private agricultural enterprises in Ukraine. It was founded in 1999 in Ternopil region. It is engaged in crop production, animal husbandry, poultry farming, seed production, and works in the service sector (grain harvesting and drying), etc. It is one of the largest pig breeding companies in Ukraine.
