Export duty on soybeans and rapeseed to be introduced on September 4 – State Customs

Starting from September 4, 2025, Ukraine will introduce an export duty on soybeans and rapeseed. About said State Customs Service.

The rule is provided for in draft law No. 13157, which President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed september 2.

"In particular, the export duty on soybeans, crushed or not (heading 1201 according to UCGFEA) and rapeseed or kohlseed, crushed or not (heading 1205 according to UCGFEA), is introduced in the amount of 10% of the customs value of the goods," the statement said.

Starting in 2030, the export rate will be reduced by 1 percentage point annually to 5%.

Agricultural producers and cooperatives that grow their own products are exempt from paying export duties.

The Customs Service emphasized that the law does not provide for the application of export duty exemptions under international free trade agreements concluded by Ukraine with certain countries.
