Hummus manufacturer Yofi (Good Foods Company LLC) has begun to resume operations at a new site after the shelling that destroyed its facilities in late September. The company reported this to LIGA.net .

"The damage is significant, but the most important thing is that no one was injured, and the team [...] is already working at the new site and restoring production lines. Reconstruction is in full swing," the company said .

According to the company, the biggest challenge was finding a new location that met production standards. "There is a war in the country, and there are not many places that are well suited in terms of space, utility infrastructure, and other things needed for food production," Yofi explained .

The company is still paying for the reconstruction on its own, but is exploring the possibilities of grant and investment programs.

Some of the equipment was ordered in advance, as Yofi was planning to modernize its production line, while others were prioritized by suppliers who were sympathetic to the company's circumstances.

Before the shelling, Yofi controlled 70% of the hummus market in Ukraine. In 2024, the company reached sales of UAH 160 million, up 50% year-on-year. Once production resumes, Yofi plans to regain its market share in full.

Supplies to stores are expected to resume in the first half of November.
