Ukraine has become the third largest supplier of organic products to the European Union

Ukraine ranked third among 123 countries in the world in terms of the volume of organic products supplied to the European Union in 2024. This was reported by the Ukrainian certification company Organic Standard.
Last year, Ukrainian companies exported 203,900 tons of organics to the EU, which is 17.4% more than in 2023.
In addition, organic exports from Ukraine to the EU exceeded the 2021 figure of 189,239 tons.
The main export positions are occupied by grains, oils, berries, fruits and other agricultural products.
Experts emphasize that this is a significant indicator of the recovery of the organic sector after a difficult period.
The positive dynamics were also supported by initiatives that help manufacturers adapt to new conditions, maintain exports, and meet the requirements of international markets.
- The European Union has decided to restore quotas for the import of Ukrainian agricultural goods from June 6.
- Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal assured that the renewal of quotas by the European Union for the import of Ukrainian agricultural products will not pose any threats to exports in the near future.
