The selection of companies and projects for the implementation of the Agreement with the USA on minerals has begun in Ukraine. The focus is on critical minerals, hydrocarbons, and related infrastructure.
On September 17, the United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) announced a $75 million contribution to the joint Reconstruction Investment Fund as its initial contribution. The capital will be supplemented by an equivalent amount from the Government of Ukraine.
On September 24, at the United by Mining 2025 forum in Kyiv, Deputy Ministers of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, Yegor Perelygin and Andriy Telupa, along with DFC advisor Anthony Pollack, revealed details about the Fund's seed capital, investment mechanisms, and the project's strategic goals.
