The redistribution of gas stations previously belonging to the Privat Group of Igor Kolomoisky and Gennady Boholyubov is accelerating in the Ukrainian retail fuel market. UPG has received permission from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) to lease 34 gas stations of the ANP and Avias brands in Kyiv and the surrounding region. It has also applied to lease another 200 stations, with the possibility of subsequent purchase. If its plans are realized, UPG will approach the top three largest gas station chains in the country.
