German investor plans to build 400 MW wind farm near Kyiv

An investor from Germany plans to build a 400 MW wind farm in the Makariv community of Kyiv region. About reported Vadym Tokar, the head of Makariv village council.
To implement the project, the community signed a memorandum of cooperation with the German company Notus Energy, a renewable energy investor operating in the international market and "implementing innovative solutions in green energy."
The wind farm is expected to consist of about 60 turbines and will be one of the largest in the region.
According to Tokar, the project involves creating new jobs, attracting investment in infrastructure development, and generating green energy without harmful emissions.
"Under the current conditions of martial law, the issue of energy security is particularly important. Implementation of modern solutions in the field of renewable energy sources will make our community more sustainable and independent."mr. Tokar emphasized.
- On August 16, it was reported that a wind farm in the Nyzhnevoritska community in Zakarpattia generated the first 25 million kilowatt-hours of clean energy for the Ukrainian energy system.
