On Tuesday, the last 16 employees of the enterprise, who ensured its preservation, were evacuated from the Avdiyivka Coke and Chemical Plant, Vitaliy Barabash, head of the Avdiyivka Town Military Administration told Suspilne Donbas.

"There are still 17 residents who refuse to evacuate in the only surviving warehouse of the enterprise," he said.

According to Barabash, the Russian army is accumulating forces and preparing for the third wave of massive attacks, pulling up both people and equipment, because the Russian command sets the task of seizing the grounds of the Avdiyivka Coke Plant.

According to the General Staff, the enemy is trying to surround Avdiyivka and is carrying out airstrikes.

MP Kostenko, who is defending Ukraine, believes that even if the Russians capture Avdiyivka, they will not be able to develop their success further.

The Ukrainian military predicts that the enemy is gathering forces for new large-scale attacks on Avdiyivka.
