OKKO will start building a wind farm with a capacity of 192 MW for 300 million euros in 2026

OKKO Group will start building a wind farm with a planned capacity of 192 MW in 2026. The cost of the project is estimated at 300 million euros including VAT, according to LIGA.net The company's press service.
The construction of the new wind farm will be financed by both borrowings and OKKO's own funds. Design and preparation work is underway, and the plant is expected to reach full capacity in 2028.
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) are considering participation in the financing of the construction. OKKO signed the relevant mandate letters with the IFC and the EBRD at the Ukraine Recovery Conference-2025 in Rome.
The project is currently undergoing due diligence and is awaiting approval by the management and boards of directors of IFC and EBRD.
OKKO Group started building its first wind farm – Ivanychi wind farm in Volyn region – in 2024. The first wind turbines are currently being installed at the site. The total capacity of the station will reach 147.2 MW.
It will be one of the largest wind farms in Ukraine, the second largest in the unoccupied territories.
Capital investments in OKKO's first wind farm project are estimated at EUR 257 million including VAT. Of this amount, EUR 100 million is OKKO's own funds, and EUR 157 million is loan financing that the group has already received from the EBRD, IFC and the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB).
- OKKO CEO Vasyl Danylyak said that the second wind farm, Zaturtsi wind farm in Volyn region, will have 32 turbines of 5.9 MW each. Electricity production will be about 612 GWh per year.
- By 2030, OKKO plans to build almost 1 GW of energy capacity.
