Power outages are back: on Thursday, schedules will be in effect all day

On Thursday, October 23, after a long period without outages – starting in December 2024 – regional power distribution companies in most regions of Ukraine will apply hourly schedules. This was reported to by the press service of NPC Ukrenergo.
Restrictions will last from 7:00 to 23:00.
For household consumers, i.e. the population, there will be hourly outage schedules (HOS) with up to three queues at a time, for industrial consumers – power limitation schedules.

Ukrenergo asked to consume electricity sparingly.
- On the night of October 22, the Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on the energy infrastructure in several regions of Ukraine. To stabilize the situation in the power system, emergency power outages were introduced in most regions of the country, which were later replaced by scheduled blackouts.
Chernihiv region, where Russia began destroying the Ukrainian power system in 2025, has been living with scheduled blackouts for more than three weeks.
