Ukrpaletsystem, a part of the business group of Volodymyr Petrenko, owner of the UPG network, has received permission from the Antimonopoly Committee to acquire control over 34 gas stations in Kyiv and Kyiv region.

This refers to the lease of assets (single property complexes) owned by a number of companies, including Tequila Gold LLC, Sky Project, Sirius Gold and others, which are part of the "private" Avias gas station chain.

Earlier, the AMCU did not consider UPG's application for lease of these gas stations because the documents did not meet the requirements of the Regulation on consideration of cases on concentration of business entities.

NV wrote that 350-400 gas stations out of a total of 660 currently controlled by Privat Group.

could potentially be leased or controlled by UPG

Earlier, Petrenko said in an interview with LIGA.net that it costs about $5 million to build a gas station in the format of the UPG network. And the construction of a small gas station in Ukraine as of 2025 will cost $1.3-1.4 million. Therefore, the company is considering options for buying and reconstructing gas stations in poor condition.
