Russia attacks railroad in Znamianka with 25 drones: photos of the aftermath

On the night of Wednesday, September 3, the Russians struck znamianka with 25 drones. The railway infrastructure and 28 residential buildings were damaged, said Kirovohrad Regional Prosecutor's Office.

"According to the investigation, on September 3, 2025, from 00:10 to 00:25, the Russian military launched a massive attack on the city of Znamianka using 25 Geranium-2 strike drones," the statement said.

As a result of hostile shelling of the railway infrastructure in Kirovohrad region, five people were wounded and more than half of the electricity consumers in the Znamianska territorial community were cut off.

The Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
