The conditions of customs control and clearance of both import and export cargoes in Ukraine change starting Tuesday, Ukraine’s state customs service said in a statement.

The changes mean that all the vehicles will not be inspected at customs, and instead, a risk-oriented approach remains.

At the same time, the number and speed of risk profiles will not increase, and therefore the number of inspections will not increase.

The members of the public council were also informed that the customs offices had received the required number of seals, changed the terminal work schedules to be able to clear goods in time, and took a number of other measures.

In particular, the contacts of customs officials will be made public to resolve possible issues during the transition period. The list of phone numbers is available here.

In addition, starting 7 November, the provisions allowing customs clearance of goods without presenting them to the customs will cease to be effective.
