On Saturday, August 23, the third stage of the Podil Bridge Crossing—the newest and largest bridge across the Dnipro River in Kyiv—will open to traffic. This was reported by Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

"We will fully open all lanes in both directions. From Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska to Rusanivski Sady, there will be four lanes in each direction for cars, public transport, and cyclists. Beyond this section, there will be two lanes each way. Traffic will also be allowed through both parts of the newly constructed tunnel," Klitschko said.

One of these tunnels was originally intended to extend the Troyeshchyna tram further south, but for now it will be used for cars.

Bicycle lanes have been installed in both directions on the Podilskyi Bridge, totaling more than 11 km, and an additional traffic light has been added at the intersection of the Podilskyi Bridge Crossing and Tsentralna Sadova Street, along with updated traffic management.

A fully equipped transfer station for high-speed tram and city electric train passengers is also available.
