Kyiv’s Gulliver skyscraper reopens after three-month closure
One of Kyiv's tallest buildings reopens after change of ownership
Kyiv’s Gulliver skyscraper, which had been closed since October 30, resumed full operations on Sunday, February 1, the company’s press service told LIGA.net.
"Since February 1, 2026, the Gulliver shopping and office complex has been fully open to tenants and visitors. Both the shopping and entertainment center and the business center are operating as usual," the statement said.
Around 60 stores and establishments, as well as the food court and cinema, have reopened in the mall.
- On July 26, 2025, a consortium of state-owned banks — Oschadbank (80%) and Ukreximbank (20%) — officially took ownership of the Gulliver shopping center through a foreclosure process after its previous owner, Tri O LLC, defaulted on its loan obligations.
- On October 30, Gulliver temporarily suspended operations. The new owners accused the former management of actively obstructing the transfer of control over the complex by blocking access to engineering infrastructure, withholding technical documentation, and deliberately overloading the power system.
- On December 12, two floors of Gulliver’s retail space resumed operations.
