PlayCity has blocked seven accounts for casino advertising. Among them is Simbochka's blog
The state agency PlayCity together with Meta blocked seven Instagram accounts that systematically spread illegal gambling advertising. About said the press service of the state agency.
Among the blocked accounts was the well-known Ukrainian blogger Simbochka with an audience of millions.
In addition, gambling ads also appeared on news accounts and influencers with thousands of followers.
According to PlayCity, these accounts systematically advertised casinos in Stories, showing "easy wins" and leaving active links.
Gambling advertising in Ukraine is strictly regulated by law. It is allowed only on limited platforms (including nightly television or publications for adults) and must have a number of mandatory labels and warnings.
In particular, the content must be labeled "21+", warn about the risk of gambling addiction, and can only refer to licensed brands.
Any hidden advertising, attraction of minors or calls for "easy money" are a direct violation of the law.
- PlayCity was established in March 2025 to replace the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (CRGL) to regulate the gambling business.
