Ukrainian citizens residing in Poland now can restore a lost or stolen driver’s licence in the country, the Ukrainian interior ministry said on Wednesday.
Before now, Ukrainian drivers in Poland could only exchange their existing driver’s licence.
Poland is the second country after Turkiye where Ukrainians can now restore a driver’s licence.
In order to do that, the driver needs to contact the Ukrainian state enterprise Document, either online or in a ‘live’ queue, and have the following documents:
- Ukrainian passport
- Taxpayer certificate
- If necessary, document confirming the change of personal data
Ukrainian driver’s licences can be restored in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk, and Krakow.
