Kovalska has set its sights on the aerated concrete market. How the new plant in the west will change it

Aerated concrete remains a leader among construction materials in Ukraine. It is actively used in the construction of residential complexes, commercial, industrial and household facilities.
Before the full-scale invasion, Ukraine used to consume more than 4 million cubic meters of aerated concrete annually. Today, the market has more than halved. Only five out of 11 production companies are operating. However, the industry retains its infrastructure and production capacity .
At the same time, investors remain interested in the market. In June, Kovalska Industrial and Construction Group plans to launch a new plant in Rozvadiv, Lviv region. The plant is intended to replace the asset in Nova Kakhovka that remained on the temporarily occupied territory.
