"Our strategy is to open stores in Europe," says designer and founder of the Andre Tan clothing store chain. On November 8th, he is opening his third Andre Tan store in Poland, in Gdansk. Two more are operating in Warsaw and Szczecin.

In addition to these, the designer has another store in Frankfurt, Germany, and plans to open another retail location in Germany by the end of 2025.

Entering the Polish market, the designer expected that at least half of the purchases in his chain would be made by Ukrainian women. However, reality turned out to be different. What other discoveries did the EU market offer the retailer, how do clients in Ukraine and Europe differ, and what are the further plans for expansion? Andre Tan told Lesia Solovchuk about this.
