Ukraine in the global arms market. Steps towards the limit of the possible.

Ukraine's defense industry has grown almost fourfold during the large-scale war. At the same time, MilTech has grown by tens of times. For example, before the "big war," there were six suppliers of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and only three of ground robotic systems (GRS). Now there are over two hundred of the former and about 40 companies of the latter.
Many companies are either underutilized with government orders or forced to forgo additional production capacity, mainly due to the lack of long-term procurement plans from domestic government agencies.
Ukraine continues to purchase foreign armored fighting vehicles, for example, even though they are 2.5 to 3.5 times more expensive than domestic ones. Five existing Ukrainian companies could easily "cover" the entire demand of the Defense Forces.
The discussion continues on whether it is worth "opening" the foreign arms market to the domestic defense industry. But Ukraine is present in the global arms market – not spectacularly, without pomposity, without unnecessary noise. But it is present nonetheless.
