The Ukrainian company FPRT will start producing solid rocket fuel in Denmark on December 1. This was reported by with reference to a confidential letter from Danmarks radio.

The plant will be located next to Skridstrup Air Base, where the Royal Air Force's F-35 fighters are deployed.

FPRT was founded by Fire Point, the company that developed Ukraine's Flamingo cruise missile.

Flamingo uses solid rocket fuel, which ignites quickly and provides a powerful, stable combustion. Unlike liquid propellants, it does not need to be refueled immediately before launch. It is also easier to use and store .

Danmarks radio pointed out that FPRT has already received a Danish CVR number (registration in the country). The company also created and the website, where it announces a large-scale project aimed at creating modern production facilities in Vojens.

"We specialize in the development and production of rocket engine components, and qualification and operational testing is carried out at our specialized off-site facilities. Our activities are aimed at supporting programs of vital importance to Danish national defense," the FPRT website says.
