Nova Poshta closes last branch in Kostiantynivka as frontline nears

On Friday, May 9, the last Nova Poshta branch in the city of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, closed due to the security situation and Russian shelling, the company's press service reported.
Branch #2 was the last branch in the city that was still operating. It also functioned as a "point of no return".
From 11:00 to 15:00, local residents could charge their phones, use Starlink Internet connection, warm up, cook, and withdraw cash.
Two employees – 32-year-old branch manager Kateryna and 18-year-old operator Diana – continued to work despite the danger.
The company promises to return to the city when it becomes possible.
Kostiantynivka is the southernmost settlement of the Kramatorsk-Slavic agglomeration.
Russia is advancing on the city from the east (Chasiv Yar) and south (Toretsk). The "gray zone" where the fighting is ongoing is less than nine kilometers from the city limits.

DeepState analysts believe that the Russian army is deliberately destroying Kostiantynivka to paralyze the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to estimates by local authorities, 20 to 30% of the city has already been completely destroyed.
