Ukraine to confiscate assets belonging to Russian oligarchs
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) seeking the confiscation of assets owned by Russian oligarchs Mikhail Fridman, Petr Aven, Andrei Kosogov, and the company Rissa Investments Limited, according to a statement from the ministry’s press service.
The ministry requests that the following assets be seized in favor of the state:
→ 82.1086% of the total shares of PJSC "Alfa Insurance Company";
→ 86.2264% share of the authorized capital in LLC "Alfa-Leasing Ukraine", LLC "Paritet Finance", LLC "Sens Digital", LLC "Universal Lease Company 'ALFA'", indirectly owned by Fridman, Aven, and Kosogov;
→ 100% of the total shares of PJSC "Myrhorod Mineral Water Plant", PJSC "Morshyn Mineral Water Plant 'Oscar'", and PJSC "Industrial and Distribution Systems";
→ 100% of the authorized capital of LLC "IDS Aqua Service", LLC "Potuzhnist", PE "IVA", and SE "NOVA.COM";
→ 3.343445% of the total shares of PJSC "Ukrainian branch company for the production of beer, soft drinks and mineral waters 'Ukrpyvo'", indirectly owned by Rissa Investments Limited.
The Ministry of Justice reminded that Mikhail Fridman, Petr Aven, and Andrei Kosogov are Russian businessmen and co-founders and shareholders of companies that are part of the financial investment consortium Alfa Group.
Rissa Investments Limited is a holding company whose subsidiaries are involved in the production and distribution of mineral waters, including in Ukraine, Russia, and Georgia. Together with Rissa Investments Limited, they form the Borjomi Group.
