Ukrainians have opened almost 30,000 companies in Poland: the ten largest by capital

As of the beginning of July 2025, Ukrainians registered 29,044 companies in Poland, of which more than 13,000 were registered after the start of Russia's full-scale war in Ukraine. This is evidenced by the data of the Polish register of legal entities KRS, writes Opendatabot.
Ukrainian business is most actively developing in three voivodeships: Mazowieckie (including Warsaw) – 11,568 companies, Małopolskie (Krakow and the region) – 3,200, and Lower Silesian (Wroclaw and the surrounding area) – 3,019.
Over the past three and a half years, 208,251 businesses have been registered in Poland, 6% of which are owned by Ukrainians.
The largest number of companies was registered by Ukrainians in 2022 – 4,780 businesses. This is a third more than in 2021.

Most businesses are registered as spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (analogous to a Ukrainian LLC). There are 27,600 such companies, or 95% of all Ukrainian businesses.
After 2022, the number of charitable organizations founded by Ukrainians also increased dramatically – 486 foundations, which is four times more than before the full-scale war.
The vast majority of Ukrainian companies in Poland are small businesses. Around 10,000 companies have a registered capital of less than PLN 10,000. Only 133 companies have more than PLN 500,000.
Since 2022, such companies founded by Ukrainians in Poland have the largest capital:
- VOLYA Sp. z o.o. – PLN 100 million (production of metal products);
- SERVICEPACK Sp. z o.o. – PLN 42 million (lease of machinery and equipment);
- BAZA POLAND Sp. z o.o. – PLN 14.3 million (wholesale trade);
- IMPERIAL BRANDS TRADING POLSKA Sp. z o.o. – PLN 13.75 million (management consultancy);
- NATATRANS Sp. z o.o. – PLN 10 million (freight transportation);
- BCP INVEST PARK Sp. z o.o. – PLN 6.05 million (construction projects);
- WEST STARS Sp. z o.o. – PLN 5.85 million (information activities);
- FC ENERGE Sp. z o.o. – PLN 5.76 million (wholesale fuel trade);
- RUCH INVEST Sp. z o.o. – PLN 5 million (real estate lease);
- GBAO Sp. z o.o. – PLN 5 million (construction).
In total, the capital of all Ukrainian companies in Poland exceeds 7.3 billion zlotys (over $1.8 billion). At the same time, companies established after 2022 have a capital 12 times lower than those established before the full-scale war.
In 2024, Ukrainians paid 1.65 billion zlotys ($414 million) in taxes to the Polish budget, according to the Polish Ministry of Finance.
- From November 1, 2025, Poland stops accepting all categories of Ukrainian refugees to collective accommodation centers (OZZ).
