Ukraine receives 78 Unical boilers worth €1.86M as Italian government aid – photo

Ukraine has received the second batch of energy aid from Italy — 78 units of industrial boiler equipment with a total capacity of over 112 MW. This was announced on Thursday evening, January 29, by Minister of Development of Communities and Territories Oleksiy Kuleba.
These are modular hot-water boilers with burners, accessories, and auxiliary systems. The total weight of the batch is over 208 tons, and the estimated value of the aid is EUR 1.86 million.
The photos released by Kuleba show that boilers manufactured by Unical have arrived from Italy. The company's products are used in both the domestic and industrial sectors.

The equipment can be used as a primary or backup heat source for hospitals, schools, office buildings, critical infrastructure facilities, as well as in municipal boiler houses and district heating systems.
"We are handing over the boilers to the communities of Chernihiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk regions, and Kyiv Oblast," Kuleba said.
According to the minister, negotiations are already underway for the next batch of energy aid from Italy – more than 300 pieces of equipment with a capacity of over 800 MW.

On January 20, Ukraine received the first batch of heat engineering equipment, the transfer of which was approved by the Italian government. These are 39 units of industrial boiler equipment with a total capacity of almost 53 MW.
The total weight of this batch exceeded 109 tons, with an estimated value of EUR 835,500. The equipment was delivered to the frontline regions where the risk of damage to heating infrastructure is highest.
