The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) excluded the British group of companies Mondi from the list of international sponsors of the war. This happened after the completion of Mondi's plan to sell its business in Russia, the Agency reported.

The British paper and packaging manufacturer has officially confirmed the closing of the deal on the sale of its largest and last asset in Russia – the Monti Syktyvkar pulp and paper mill JSC (Syktyvkar Forestry Complex) to Sezar Invest.

The announcement was made on the London Stock Exchange.

The Mondi company also sent a letter to NACP, where it noted the fulfillment of the conditions that allow it to be excluded from the list, that is, its complete exit from the Russian Federation.

The other three factories belonging to the Mondi company in Russia – Mondi Aramil LLC, Mondi Pereslavl LLC, and Mondi Lebedyan LLC – were sold to the Russian Gotek group in July 2023.

At the beginning of October 2023, the NACP finally excluded the Hungarian OTP Bank from the list of sponsors of the war.

In the same month, a diamond manufacturer from India managed to leave the Ukrainian list of war sponsors.
