The Jackson-Vanik Amendment is an addendum to the U.S. Trade Act of 1974 that restricted U.S. financial and trade relations with countries whose governments violate human rights, namely, prohibit or unlawfully restrict the free emigration of their citizens. The amendment was repealed in 2012 by the administration of former US President Barack Obama.
Thus, the renewal of the Jackson-Vanik amendment means a complete cessation of trade with Russia, which Wilson called a "terrorist dictatorship."
The politician reminded that the law was repealed on the initiative of Barack Obama і John Kerry as part of the so-called "reset of relations with Russia".
According to Wilson, the move was "misguided" and "reckless," and actually encouraged Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to occupy Crimea.
"Trump will fix this situation!" Wilson emphasized.

- On the night of September 10, during the massive Russian attack on Ukraine "Shahids" flew into Poland. Because of this, airports were closed there, and the military used weapons against drones.
- Prime Minister Tusk said about 19 airspace violations.
- The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that in addition to the wreckage of the drones found fragments of the missile.
