In Ukraine, sales of hybrid cars increased by almost 50%: the most popular models in April
Ukrainians purchased over 2,700 hybrid cars in April 2025
In April 2025, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with more than 2,700 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV), which is 46% more than in the same period last year. This was reported by Ukravtoprom.
The majority of registered passenger cars were new – their share was 63%, while last year, used cars accounted for 51% of the total.
The most popular new hybrid models in April were:
- Toyota RAV-4 – 268 cars;
- Audi Q8 – 112 cars;
- Toyota Yaris Cross – 109 cars.
Among imported hybrids with mileage, the leaders were the following models:
- Toyota Prius – 74 cars;
- Kia Niro – 58 cars;
- Toyota RAV-4 – 47 cars.
- In the first quarter of 2025, Ukrainians purchased 12,000 used passenger cars under five years old, imported from abroad.
- China's BYD has launched its premium Denza brand in Europe.
