Jaguar Land Rover will resume production on October 8 after a five-week downtime

On October 8, the British automotive company Jaguar Land Rover will begin a phased resumption of production after a long pause that began due to a hacker attack in early September 2025. This is reported by on the company's website.
The Engine Plant (EPMC) and the Battery Assembly Center (BAC) in the West Midlands, an agglomeration that includes Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and a number of smaller cities, will be the first to resume operations. Three stamping plants are also being launched .
By the end of the week, production in Nitra (Slovakia) will begin and production of Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles in Solihull, England, will resume.
"We are resuming production operations after the cyber incident. Tomorrow we will welcome our colleagues back to the engine plant in Wolverhampton, followed shortly by those who build our world-class vehicles in Nitra and Solihull," said Adrian Mardell, CEO of JLR.
At the same time, Jaguar Land Rover is introducing a new financing scheme to support qualified suppliers affected by the production stoppage. They will receive an advance payment immediately after ordering instead of the standard 60 days after invoice.
