Renault appoints former Mercedes-Benz vice president as CEO of Dacia brand

French automaker Renault has announced the appointment of former Mercedes-Benz Vice President Catherine Adt as CEO of its Dacia brand. About writes Reuters.
Adt will replace Denis Le Vaux, who is leaving the company. The changes come as part of a reorganization led by new CEO François Provost, who became the head of Renault in July after sudden departure of the previous manager Luca de Meo.
In addition, Renault has created a new position of Chief Growth Officer, to which Fabrice Camboliv, the current head of the Renault brand, has been appointed.
Provo said the new structure will allow the company to make faster decisions and operate more efficiently amid growing competition and weak demand, which has already led to warnings of a possible decline in profits this year.
Adt was previously head of the Smart brand and later head of Mercedes-Benz Own Retail Europe.
