Sales of the updated Tesla Model Y L for more than $47,000 have started in China

American company Tesla Elon Musk has started accepting orders for the updated Model Y L electric car in China. The price of the car starts at 339,000 yuan (about $47,184). About writes Reuters.
Tesla first introduced the Model Y in 2020, and in 2023, this model became the best-selling car in the world.
But last year, sales began to decline due to increased competition from Chinese manufacturers, including Xiaomi with the YU7 model.
In January, Tesla presented an updated version of the Model Y with a modernized design and new features for the Asia-Pacific markets. In July, the company registered a new version of the Model Y L with the Chinese authorities.
Tesla also plans to bring to market Model 3 with a longer range.
Sales of Tesla electric cars assembled in China fell by 8.4% in July, according to the China Passenger Car Association.
