Ukrainians import over $2 billion worth of cars in first four months of 2024
The largest share of imports is passenger cars
From January to April 2024, Ukraine imported 133,908 vehicles (new and used), according to Ukravtoprom.
The total customs value of the imported vehicles reached nearly $2.1 billion.
The largest share of imports belongs to passenger cars, with 118,100 units imported, totaling over $1.5 billion.
The second-largest category is trucks, with 15,181 units valued at $460.3 million.
Special purpose vehicles (cranes, concrete mixers, tow trucks, etc.) accounted for 325 units, worth $53 million.
Bus imports for the same period amounted to 302 units, valued at $14.6 million.
