Former CEO of Good Day Pharmacy changed her profile to head a pet store chain

Oksana Kirichenko, who headed the Good Day Pharmacy chain until April 2025, has become the CEO of the MasterZoo pet store chain. About LIGA.net the company's press service said.
Oksana Kirichenko has more than 20 years of experience in retail and service, including in national chains, MasterZoo said. Since 2017, Kirichenko has worked at the Dobroho Dnia Pharmacy chain, where she held senior positions, and in 2021 became the company's CEO.
"Retail is one of the most competitive and demanding industries that requires strategic thinking, operational discipline, and flexibility. Ukrainian pet retail is extremely dynamic: it is becoming more and more competitive, changing in terms of the composition of players and their activity," said the newly appointed CEO of MasterZoo.
Kirichenko said she sees significant potential in the industry, as "only 17% of Ukrainian families have dogs and 28% have cats, while in most European countries this figure exceeds 30-50%."
Under the new management, MasterZoo plans to focus on several areas:
→ digital transformation and a complete e-commerce relaunch for the omnichannel service;
→ expansion of services - from feed and accessories to veterinary products, grooming and consultations;
→ increasing the range of products and developing its own brands.
In 2025-2026, the chain also plans to increase investments in training pet store teams in specialized knowledge and skills in pet care and basic veterinary medicine.
"Our task is not only to provide the assortment, but also to support [animal owners] with education: to explain how to choose food [...], what to look for in the composition, because it directly affects the duration and quality of life," Kirichenko emphasized.
- MasterZoo, a part of Suziria Group, is the largest pet store chain in Ukraine, with 200 pet stores in 38 cities and 17 grooming salons in six cities as of August 2025.
- In the first six months of the year, MasterZoo opened eight new pet stores (Kyiv, Odesa, Irpin, Vyshneve, Ukrainka, Sofiyivska Borshchahivka) and two grooming salons.
