For the first time in its history, the Danish jewelry brand Pandora has appointed a woman as CEO. Berthe de Pablos-Barbière will lead the company from March 2026. About writes Bloomberg.

The newly appointed CEO of Pandora is currently working as a marketing director in Copenhagen. She will replace Alexander Lacik, who is retiring at the age of 60.

Pandora, whose products are almost entirely aimed at women, has been trying to improve the gender balance in its management for years, but has not achieved significant changes at the highest levels.

Currently, de Pablos-Barbière is the only woman among the company's eight executives, while half of the board of directors are women.

"It's important for Pandora, and for the world, to have a balanced team. Research shows the importance of diversity in leadership, and we serve women," said de Pablos-Barbière.

The woman also said that the company plans to expand its product range: in addition to the well-known silver bracelets and pendants, Pandora plans to use more metals in more product categories.

During Latsik's tenure, the company's shares grew by 150%, and in the six and a half years of his leadership, Pandora stabilized its financial performance after a series of loss warnings.

Prior to joining Pandora in 2024, de Pablos-Barbière was the head of Moet & Chandon and held leadership positions at brands such as Mars and Lacoste.
