Turkish footwear company FLO is closing its stores in Ukraine, despite having planned to open 50 outlets in 2025. As of October 2025, only the store in the Fontan Sky shopping center in Odesa is open, writes NV.

At the end of April 2025, the FLO store in Kyiv's Respublika Park shopping center closed. Budhouse Group also terminated its agreements with the Turkish retailer in Forum Lviv and Nikolsky shopping centers in Kharkiv.

Maxim Gavryushin, Chief Operating Officer of Budhouse Group, said that the turnover of FLO stores in Forum Lviv and Nikolsky shopping centers in Kharkiv was four to five times lower than expected, which made it impossible to pay the rent.

A representative of FLO Ukraine told the publication that the FLO network in Ukraine is being "optimized," with only unprofitable stores being closed.

The company also continues to look for employees for Reebok stores in Kyiv, according to the job search website Work.ua.

FLO, the largest Turkish footwear retailer, entered the Ukrainian market at the end of 2020, opening a store in Lviv's Forum Lviv shopping mall. The company sells men's, women's and children's shoes of its own brands (Lumberjack, Reno, Polaris), as well as brands licensed to it, including Reebok.

In 2021-2024, FLO in Ukraine had a network of at least ten stores in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Lviv, and Sumy.

By 2023, FLO Group planned to increase its sales abroad to $300 million. To do this, the company intended to open more than 300 stores in 47 countries. As of October 2025, about 800 stores in 25 countries continue to operate, including Russia.
