Ukraine has updated the Unified Register of Powers of Attorney as part of a large-scale notary reform aimed at digitalizing and simplifying services. About this said the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

"A major notary reform is underway in Ukraine to make notary services faster and more modern without unnecessary bureaucracy. One of its important stages is the update of the Unified Register of Powers of Attorney," the Ministry of Digital Transformation noted.

The agency added that the registry used to be confusing and outdated: notaries spent time on an inconvenient interface and manually duplicated the same data in different fields. This slowed down work and increased the risk of errors.

The new interface is simple and clear. Functions are grouped logically, and the system automatically pulls up repetitive information. This will allow notaries to work faster and reduce the risk of errors.

"Thanks to this update, in the future Ukrainians will be able to check notarized powers of attorney through Diia. It will be enough to scan the QR code on the document," the Ministry of Digital Transformation said.
