The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office has filed a lawsuit to declare illegal the decision of the Kyiv City Council to lease a municipal land plot worth more than UAH 9.5 million to an entrepreneur. This was reported to by Prosecutor's Office.

The prosecutor's office also asks the court to demolish the unauthorized building, cancel the registration of ownership of the building, and return the land plot from the lease.

It was established that in 2024, the Kyiv City Council leased a land plot worth more than UAH 9.5 million to an entrepreneur without holding a land auction.

"The entrepreneur illegally built a non-residential building on the site, and then, as the owner of this property, received a lease on land on Myloslavska Street in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv without an auction, where he arranged a parking lot," the report says.

At the same time, the area of land leased is almost 16 times larger than the area of real estate located on it.

The prosecutor's office emphasized that the provision of land plots for the operation and maintenance of road service facilities, which include parking lots, is carried out exclusively based on the results of a land auction.
