A dry port and an elevator will be built in the Lviv region, which will store up to 30,000 tons of grain

An elevator that will be able to simultaneously store up to 30,000 tons of grain, as well as a dry port, will be built in the Belz community of Lviv region, as reported by the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
It is noted that this is the first facility within a large infrastructure agricultural project, which includes:
- hundreds of granaries throughout Ukraine;
- a network of dry ports;
- modern logistics hubs;
- deep processing plants;
- bioclusters;
- new opportunities for export;
- technological renewal of the agricultural sector.
The memorandum on the beginning of cooperation on the construction of facilities was signed by the Lviv Regional State Administration, the Lviv Regional Council, the Belz City Council and the AgHoldCo company.
The investor is AgHoldCo with the support of the UAF Partners investment fund.
The construction is expected to create new jobs, reduce grain logistics costs, and increase food security in the region.
In addition, the facility will become a useful tool for both small and medium-sized farms, which will find it easier to store their harvest.
- The construction of the Bio-lan industrial park is underway in Ternopil region. The new production hub will specialize in grain processing and the production of bioethanol and biogas.
