Changes in the management of Naftogaz: the former acting CEO resigns from the Board

Supervisory Board NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine dismissed Roman Chumak from his position as a member of the company's board. He was the interim head of Naftogaz after the dismissal of the Chairman of the Board Alexey Chernyshev and before the appointment Sergei Koretsky.

This decision was made at a meeting of the Supervisory Board on September 5, according to data on the website of Naftogaz Group.

Roman Chumak, who has been a member of the Management Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine since September 28, 2021, and from december 4, 2024 to april 28, 2025 acting as interim Chairman, will leave the Board on September 16, 2025.

At the same meeting, the Supervisory Board elected Taras Pasazhko as a member of the Naftogaz Management Board for three months - from September 17 to December 17, 2025. Since June, Mr. Pasazhko has been the Director of Strategy and Business Development at Naftogaz.

The resolution of the Supervisory Board does not contain any justification for changes in the personnel.

According to information in his LinkedIn profile, Taras Pasazhko worked as Head of Investment and Analytics at Fozzy Group. From December 2024 to June 2025, he served as Head of Strategy and Transformation at Vitagro, an agricultural holding company that is an active player in in the bioethanol market.
