Gasoline coupons introduced in some regions of Russia and Crimea due to a series of attacks on refineries

In Russia's Primorsky Krai, gasoline shortages have been reported at gas stations following a series of attacks on oil refineries that have caused the Russian economy to lose about 13% of its capacity. About writes The Moscow Times.
The fuel problems in Russia began in early August, but they have recently intensified.
First, drivers in Anuchino, Arsenyev, Ussuriysk, and Chuguev districts experienced a shortage of gasoline, and later, AI-92 and AI-95 brands disappeared from Vladivostok gas stations.
The situation is particularly difficult on the Ussuri federal highway connecting Khabarovsk Krai and Primorye. There, gasoline is sold with coupons, and only a few gas stations for special services and organizations are open.
In large Russian cities, there is still fuel available, but drivers stand in lines for an hour and a half to two hours.
Journalists also attribute the shortage of gasoline to the fact that demand increased sharply during the tourist season, and refineries reduced shipments, sometimes by five times. Delays on the railroad create additional problems.
Fuel vouchers are also already in place in the Trans-Baikal region of Russia and in occupied Crimea. The occupation authorities of the peninsula have recognized the shortage and stated that "the issue will be resolved after the war ends."
Since the beginning of August, at least seven Russian refineries have been attacked by drones, four of which have completely shut down.
- In recent weeks, Russia has been almost daily drones are attacking.
- On the night of August 14, Ukraine inflicted successful strike on the largest producer of fuels and lubricants in the Southern Federal District of Russia – Lukoil refinery in Volgograd.
- On the night of August 19 drones attacked the Volgograd region of Russia. Russians complained about explosions, after which it became known that a fire had broken out on the territory of the local refinery.
