On Friday, August 29, a Russian drone attacked the company's emergency crew DTEK Dnipro Power Grids, which worked to restore a power line in the frontline area. About said press service of DTEK Dnipro Power Grids.

At 17:55, the drone hit a company car of the power engineers. As a result of the explosion, the vehicle completely burned down, along with equipment and repair materials.

The workers were not injured, as they managed to leave the car before the impact.

"Every day, power engineers risk their lives to restore critical infrastructure so that the residents of the region have electricity. DTEK Dnipro Power Grids condemns another attack on civilians and emphasizes that such actions are another Russian war crime," the company said.

Since the beginning of 2025, two power engineers have been injured and another killed while performing work in the Dnipro region.
