Ukrgazvydobuvannya exceeded the mark of 3.31 million cubic meters of daily gas extraction, which is the highest indicator in the last three years, the press service of the Naftogaz Group reported on Friday.

Since the beginning of the year, Ukrgazvydobuvannya has commissioned 54 new gas wells and increased the number of service operations.

Thanks to this, in August, the average daily rate of gas extraction reached 3.31 million cubic meters, which is the highest indicator since June 2020.

At the end of August, Ukrgazvydobuvannya discovered a new field with expected gas reserves of up to 1 billion cubic meters.

The oil and gas field was studied from the ground up. The deposit on it was discovered by a well with a depth of almost 4,000 meters.

On July 14, 2023, Ukrgazvydobuvannya drilled the deepest well in its history.

On July 26, Naftogaz increased gas extraction by 150,000 cubic meters after it repaired a 20-year-old well.

On August 15, Naftogaz launched two wells with an extraction volume of 430,000 cubic meters of gas per day.
