Antonov Airlines Receives International Award for Contribution to Ultra-Heavy Transportation
Airlines of the Ukrainian cargo company Antonov, currently based abroad, have won a prestigious international award from The Heavy Lift Group (THLG), Ukroboronprom reported.
It was awarded for outstanding contribution to the development of the global market for heavy and oversized transportation.
THLG is an international association of companies specializing in the transportation of oversized and heavy cargo.
"High recognition is a confirmation of the influence of the Antonov Airlines brand and leadership and their ability to work qualitatively at the world level," Ukroboronprom noted.
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Antonov Airlines has operated over 260 flights with civilian and military cargo.
"The Defense Forces of Ukraine received weapons, military equipment, and much more, which helped and is helping now to destroy enemies, as well as to preserve the lives of our defenders," Ukroboronprom added.
